The Speed Indicator Device (SID) is a temporary sign which use radar to detect and display vehicle speed to the driver to encourage them to keep within the speed limit.

The data capture records the number of overspeed vehicles, speeds, time & date; and Smiley Activated Messages.

It is important to state that no personal data is collected by the device.

The 'blue blobs' identify the six locations that the licence permits the device to be used.
